Jilapuhn launches its new website. We have worked hard on our website so that we can be more informative about our organization. We listen to our customers. Many customers have commented that we should inform the general public about the good things we have done for people. For the past 14 years we have been in business, we have never “tooted our own horn.” Jilapuhn has a very loyal customer base and that have commented on the great work we have done. Jilapuhn is one of the official sponsors for the “Party Lovers Carnival Troupe” for the carnival parade in St Thomas this year. Last year HMCU was the only division to sponsor the “Party Lovers Carnival Troupe.” This year both HMCU and Jilapuhn have sponsored the troupe during Carnival “We are very excited about this year’s carnival parade especially since we are in it!” says Gwen Clarke, manager of the Tutu branch of HMCU.
HMCU’s board members will be meeting in person this year in August of 2011. Every year the board meets in person to discuss rates and regulations of HMCU as well as compliance issues. This year’s meeting will be in Denver, Colorado. The board expects to roll out many new products for members in 2011.
